Pole Dancing
Pole dancing is an art form and has come a long way in leaving its seedy past behind. In 2017 it became a recognised sport and there are various pole championships held across the globe. Not only that, it is one of the best forms of exercise and improves your core and upper body strength and you (mostly) look so elegant while you do it. This hen activity is one of the most popular and our fully trained instructors will have you twirling around the pole in no time at all.
Have you ever wanted to try swinging around the pole and learning how they do it so acrobatically? Pole dancing classes have really blown up everywhere, now often seen as a great fitness activity, but we're purely going with the fun angle for your hen weekend.
The expert instructor will walk you through the best way to swing around, to pose and a number of tricks and moves you can do. You'll start with an introduction and a walk through of the basic techniques. You'll then get to start trying the beginner moves and spins. For everyone who fancies it, you'll then be taught some combinations to try out and you can combine these for a routine.
Don't worry if you've never tried this before, this is definitely beginner friendly, they'll completely cater to your group and also on an individual basis, for those that want something beginner, intermediate or advanced, they'll adapt their teaching.
Remember that skin contact on the pole actually helps with gripping, therefore you shouldn't be too overly dressed, shorts are often ideal for this. Many people turn up in leggings, not realising that actually makes it harder, so let the whole group know beforehand, so they can pack the appropriate clothing.
