Bournemouth Cocktail Making Hen Do's

A cocktail making class is the top selling activity in Bournemouth and for good reason, it works so well for hen weekends! This 90 minute workshop will allow you all to make up two signature cocktails from scratch, learning the process of being a mixologist and drinking your creations as well.

You'll be welcomed with a glass of prosecco each, while you'll also learn the Haus dance, and integral aspect of being at Barbara's Bier Haus, as you'll see the staff take on the dance numerous times throughout your visit. At the end of your session, you'll finish with a shot ski as well.

This ski chalet themed bar is ideal for hen groups, with plenty of space and a fun layout which means after your class, you can stay on at the venue and drink into the evening or order some food to your table.

The bar is on Christchurch road, in central Bournemouth, meaning you don't have a long walk from the Aprés ski themed bar to the nightclub, bars or restaurant, depending on what time you've booked for. Available on Friday's between 4pm-7pm or Saturdays from 12pm-3pm, the choice is yours which will work better based on other activities you want to book in. This is an ideal group activity that can work amazingly with big groups, hence why it's so popular with hen groups in Bournemouth.

This 90 minute cocktail masterclass at Slug & Lettuce allows for your group to decide which drinks you'd want to make, with options like espresso martini, strawberry sprinkle, mojito, beach babes, hot honey margarita or a cosmo, but these are subject to change, therefore feel free to check in the build-up. 

You'll be given a pornstar martini each on arrival, just to get everyone in the mood to make some drinks and have a laugh, while at the end you'll all be given a signature S&L shot.

Unlike Barbara's Bier Haus, the cocktail making at Slug & Lettuce is available 7 days a week, so if you're looking to book a midweek day or want to carry the party on into Sunday then this option still works. Available on Saturdays at 12pm, 2pm, 4pm or 6pm, or any other day has the same time slots but with 8pm added.

There may be the occasional party game during your session, run by the S&L trained mixologists, keeping everyone laughing and smiling. In total, you'll have 2 cocktails each, plus the welcome pornstar martini and shot at the end.

If there are any non-drinkers in the group, that's not a worry as there is a non-alcoholic version of the masterclass so that they can make or have a mocktail. If you let us know in advance, they can have a fruity pornstar martini on arrival rather than the alcoholic one.
