Liverpool Cocktail Making Hen Do's

Upon arrival at Revolution, you'll each receive a Tom Collins with a fun Revs twist, the perfect way to start this hen do activity. The masterclass lasts 90 minutes and is led by an expert mixologist, who will guide each person in the group through making some cocktails.

You'll be shaking, stirring and mixing your own tasty drinks, while the mixologist will also introduce some fun games and challenges along the way. You'll each get to choose a cocktail from the available menu, something we find quite unique as many venues are quite strict on a set couple of drinks being made, so this adds a personal touch to the event.

Not just is this hugely popular with hen parties, once you've learned how to make your favourite cocktail, you can test out your skills back at home. At the end of the cocktail making class, there will be a flavoured vodka train brought out for the whole group to enjoy.

On top of your masterclass, you'll also have a two course meal each, making this a nice combined activity. Who doesn't want a dessert before the night really kicks in? Keep an eye out for the chocolate orange vodka sauce on the chocolate brownie!

This is a private cocktail making class, meaning you'll have your own space just for your group to put your bags down, be as loud as you like, laugh and drink. Being the drag host, this is entertainment first, a lot more chaotic, hilarious and crazy than a traditional cocktail masterclass, but of course, you'll still be having a go and being taught how to make the different tasty drinks.

The class lasts one hour, available on Fridays and Saturdays, with one full cocktail each, plus three cocktail shots. The bride is really in the spotlight with this activity, while others it tends to be treated equally as a group, the drag host will ensure the bride gets the VIP treatment behind the bar and takes centre stage. They do recommend arriving one hour before the class, firstly so you're in on time, but also as you will be able to enjoy 2-for-1 signature house cocktails to get everyone in the group excited for their class.

They also encourage groups to stay on after their class, so that they can enjoy a drag show, music, the dance floor or getting some photo opportunities.

This is a 90 minute hands-on cocktail making class located at the hugely popular venue Be At One, meaning it's the perfect place to stay on afterwards and enjoy some more drinks. One of the bartenders will be on hand to teach your group how to make the selected cocktails, with everyone in the group getting a chance.

You'll receive a bellini on arrival, important to get everyone instantly motivated to make some cocktails and loosened up. You'll pick the two cocktails which are to be made, while you'll each get the chance to make them, with a few fun games being introduced along the way.

It's always better when people can pick what they'd like to make rather than the bartender deciding, so this is an ideal aspect of this masterclass. At the end, you'll all get a 'money shot', no we don't mean a photo, we mean an actual shot, the final drink before heading on into the night. There are non-alcoholic versions of the drinks available to make for those who are staying sober on the night, so they can still enjoy a tasty mocktail and not feel left out.

Just remember, quality as well as speed, if you race through it but still half the drink, you won't be awarded the title.

Next, you’ll have the chance to craft your own cocktail masterpiece. Choose your favourite from the menu, step behind the bar, and create a drink that’s just your style. And if anyone gets a little too competitive or makes some mistakes then they'll be 'punished' with penalty shots. Not sure whether you'll see that as a penalty or a reward, but drinks will be served!
