Marbella Hen Do Accommodation

Renowned for its glitz and glamour, Marbella is the go-to hen party destination for all glamour queens. Famed for being a millionaires playground, you can sip Prosecco while rubbing shoulders with the rich and famous. The shopping is as high-end as the nightlife with top fashion brands such as Hermes, Louis Vuitton, Dolce and Gabbana and Jimmy Choo you can browse (or spend) Sex and the City style. The miles of white sandy beaches aren’t too shabby either and our activity packages will ensure the fun never stops from the moment you open your eyes. But where to lay your heads?

Finding the perfect accommodation for you and your girls can be tricky, but fear not, our carefully curated hen packages will eliminate any planning woes. With options to suit every taste, each of our hen packages will include accommodation as well as popular activities, making planning an absolute breeze. The only thing left to do is to book your flights. So, what are you waiting for?  Book now and let us take care of you.

Puerto Banús

This is the ideal spot to stay if you want to be nearby to the main nightclubs. You'll also be close to the beach clubs as well as the marina, therefore this is easily the most popular spot for hen parties. This does however mean you can expect to pay a bit more for your hen accommodation.

Golden Mile

You will find some really expensive hotels along the Golden Mile, hence why we don't necessarily list too many in this area, but it's ideal for those that want easy access to the beach and a bit more of a quiet area compared to Puerto Banús, while still remaining close by.

Marbella Old Town

It really depends on your groups priorities, but if you're less keen on being near the nightclubs and you're more focused on enjoying some tasty restaurants nearby, then this may be the perfect spot for your hen weekend. This is the area where you'll get more of a traditional experience, while there are also some really nice spots for tapas. You will also be spending much less than the hotels, hostels and apartments near the nightclubs.

San Pedro de Alcántara

If you're working to a tight budget, considering how expensive Marbella can be, then this can work out well, with vastly cheaper hen-friendly accommodation available here. It's also a lot more quiet, so you can have a good nights sleep, plus you just need a short taxi journey to get back over to Puerto Banús.

Marbella Transport

Getting from Malaga airport to begin your hen adventure of a lifetime couldn’t be easier, there are three options available to you. The journey takes approximately 30-50 minutes by car, depending on traffic, as the roads in the summer time can become quite busy.

Taxi or bus are the best bet, and both are available from Terminal 3. Alternatively you can hire a car if you wish but we suggest doing so in advance as the queues at the airport car hire places tend to be long and we know you will want to start the party ASAP.

We can arrange for a pre-booked transfer to pick you up from the airport and also to drop you off at the end of the holiday. This ensures the group stay together, it's not a cost that people have to worry about when they arrive and the driver will already know where you need to go and will be ready straight away.

Walking
While many people initially plan on walking around, they're often unaware of the distance between areas, e.g. Old Town and Puerto Banús wil ltake you about 1.5 hours to walk it, especially not ideal if it's a very hot day. If you're staying close by to the activities you plan on doing or the venues you want to visit then it becomes much more walkable, but this should be a key consideration.

Uber

As previously mentioned, Uber is available in Marbella, while Bolt is also somewhat available to a lesser degree. You will also find plenty of taxis darting through and some taxi ranks. The prices for all three options do tend to shoot up when the nightclubs close, so just keep this in mind.

Buses

There is an Avanza network of buses which you can take as a cheaper alternative to taxis, ideal for travelling between Marbella and Puerto Banús.

Parking in Marbella

Most central areas have parking available, however it can be tricky finding a space during peak season. You can book parking spaces in advance which saves the hassle of driving around aimlessly. Congress Place offers free parking, as does Playa de la Fontanilla, which is situated near Marbella Marina.

Some of the bigger hotels also have their own parking, but it's important to check before you arrive, so if you're tempted to hire a car for the weekend or you know someone is driving over, make sure to message the hotel or ask us and we can let you know.

One thing we particularly love is that many of the central car parks are actually underground, meaning if you leave your car through the hot sunny day, it's not been heated up by the sun.

If you plan on driving over to the beach, the parking along this area is incredibly busy and hard to find a spot, even worse during the summer peak. But can we seriously recommend just avoiding getting a car and sticking to either public transport, walking, Uber or pre-booked transfers.

Types of Accommodation

There's a huge varitety of accommodation to choose from in Marbs, with everything from apartments to hotels. Finding the right place to rest your pretty heads can be tricky, this is where we swoop in and save the day. As experienced travellers to the city with a wide range of contacts, we have tried and tested all of what's on offer and we will only pair you up with the very best providers. Not only that, we can find something to suit all budgets and requirements.

We will ensure you are right in the heart of the action if that's what you are looking for, or we can find somewhere more secluded. Whether it's self catering, five-star luxury or shared rooms, with over 20 years experience in the stag and hen business we have got you covered. All of our accommodations are hen friendly, so you know you'll receive a warm welcome wherever you end up.

Apartments, Hotels & Villas

A number of hen groups reach out to us to request a villa, virtually none have actually booked one. There is a good reason for this, as nice as the idea is, the cost is simply not affordable. Even if you can afford it, there will be a fair few in the group that will feel financially stressed by this whole situation. Hotels, hostels and apartments work much better for a hen party budget.

Apartments do offer a vastly greater level of flexibility. You can all get ready together rather than in separate rooms. You can blast out tunes while getting ready or even watch some TV if you're stuck waiting for others. Someone can cook for the group, so you don't have to eat out every night or in the morning.

On the other side, hotels are great when you don't want any responsibilities and you just want to switch off. No need to clean up after yourself or cook for anyone, it's time to be pampered!

There are also obviously low cost hotels and hostels which can offer bunk beds or multiple beds in each room, helping you to lower the cost per person. Considering you really won't spend long in the bedroom when on a hen night, this actually can be a great option.

Self Catering Vs Hotel

Some groups prefer the idea of having a shared space, which does mean a self catering accommodation, but this doesn't mean you have to cook, you can book an apartment but still head to a restaurant, which is what most of our bookings go ahead with. Having a shared fridge gives somewhere that you can all store your drinks, plus some snacks for later in the night, as well as breakfast for the morning.

Which you choose really does come down to what the bride would prefer, so speak to her and make sure to cover all the pros and cons for either side.

Accessibility

If you do have certain accessibility issues that you need to consider then it's worth knowing that Old Town has cobbled streets, which can be hard to walk on for many people. In fact, it's not just those with accessibility problems, even just dragging a heavy wheeled suitcase over them can cause issues and frustration, so it's worth taking this into consideration.
