Most of the time, they take place in a nightclub, as they need a large venue that can host about 100 people in a room. We will let you know in advance so you can plan your itinerary around your visit, for example, in Brighton it tends to take place at the Pryzm club on a permanent basis due to the size they can offer.
This depends on the location, but in general they tend to say arrive for 7pm, with the show starting around 30 minutes later, once the drinks are all poured (you will receive a welcome drink on arrival). It will generally start with the drag host who will run through the itinerary as well as making plenty of jokes, before the naughty show takes place.
Absolutely, you're already in a nightclub, so why head on anywhere else? Once the show has finished, you are given access to the rest of the building to carry on with your night. This is actually a very popular option, especially if the venue happens to be the club you would have liked to go to in the first place.
Don't worry, you're not the first to say this and you certainly won't be the last, it is scary and not everyone's cup of tea. What you can always do is nominate someone else in the group who wouldn't mind taking your place (there is normally someone who would love to go up, but could be worth asking beforehand) or you can simply say no, they won't be pushy and are told beforehand only to ask but not to insist at all. Nobody wants you to feel awkward or obliged to go up, it's completely your choice, but do consider the nomination as someone else, as it always makes for great fun!
You generally book a standard ticket, which are sold on a first come first served basis in regards to your position. They do also have VIP tickets (enquire with our event planners for details in case you can't see this on the product page), which will get your front row seats with name tags on (expect more audience participation if you choose this option).
You must be 18 years old to attend, so make sure everyone in the group is this age minimum, otherwise they might have to split ways at this point. As these events largely take place at a nightclub, there will most likely be a bouncer on the door checking ID's. This isn't the case every time, but we would recommend erring on the side of caution and making sure everyone brings ID with them. This includes either a passport or a valid driving license / provisional license.
Of course! We love it when groups wear fancy dress for these events, while it doesn't have to just be the bride, everyone can share in the hilariousness and you can pick a theme. In general, we don't recommend giant inflatable phallic items, not because we mind them, but because they might have to be taken away at the door.
But in general, fancy dress is very much recommended for this activity on a hen do, it may lead to some questioning or jokes from the drag host, so be prepared for some witty comebacks.
Of course! We sell a huge number of mixed-gender hen parties, any gender is welcome. Our team has a number of LGBTQ+ community members and we can certainly say we've tested this activity out ourselves and loved every minute of it. You don't need to let us know in advance, we just need to know the number of people who need tickets.
While this might vary from location to location, there tends to be approximately a 2 hour running for the show. Of course, you will have complimentary access to the nightclub afterwards, so the night doesn't need to end there, but considering it's two hours you do want to make sure the group all turn up on time, as the show will start whether you're on time or not. You will be provided with a ticket, or e-ticket, before your attendance and this will show the precise timing of the show.
