Gin Tasting Masterclass Including Meal
If it’s always gin o’clock for you and the girls, then a gin tasting goes onto the must do for your hen weekend. The lesson is half sophistication – as you and the girls develop your gin palate – and half fun, because said ‘developing’ is done by drinking plenty.
Under the tutelage of a gin expert you and the girls get the perfect introduction to the intoxicating world of gins and tonics.
Gin has gone through the roof in popularity and we're all here for it! A gin tasting class is a great way to broaden your horizons and it can introduce some new flavours for those in the group that don't often give gin a chance or explore the different options much.
You will have five tasting samples, so you can compare then and work out your favourite, before getting a full sized G&T at the end, while they will have tonics and garnishes available. The class instructor will walk you through the different tasting notes, the history of each brand, the different botanicals that are present and providing both the aroma and taste, as well as the different characteristics that are present. They will also walk you through how to taste gin properly.
Feel free to ask as many questions as you like, they're used to these questions and should be able to answer them all. The different botanicals allows you to learn what works for you, whether it's something a bit more fruity tasting, something spicy or a bitter taste. On top of the drinks there will be some nibbles to enjoy through the masterclass, so you don't get too peckish.
Then at the end, you'll have a main meal, to help the drinks go down and stop you from leaving too tipsy. If you have any dietary requirements, do let our team know in advance. If there are more than 15 people in your group then we will have to take a pre-order on meals, to ensure enough of each dish is available.
