Forget a relaxing afternoon tea or a classy session of wine tasting, this is for the adrenaline junkies who couldn't think of anything better than flying off a rooftop attached to a zipwire and flying through the sky. This is a great option if you're in a new city and really want to try something daring.
Is the bride a bit of a daredevil? This is the world's first pier-to-shore zip wire and is amazing for groups that want to do something a bit different for the hen weekend, walking away with a memorable life experience.
Stretching 25 metres long, the PierZip will take the riders straight from the tower over the sea and onto the beach. This is a dual zip wire, meaning two of you can go side by side, meaning you can race each other down and share it as a really nice moment together. Not to mention the pics you'll get flying through the air alongside each other. We're thinking of the pic of the bride and maid of honour, how cute!
There are some height and weight restrictions to be aware of. You must be at least 1.3 metres tall and weigh less than 120kg. You're also not allowed to consume alcohol beforehand, so make sure to turn up sober, you can celebrate with a drink straight after! You will also need 'closed toe shoes', meaning no flip flops, while they also state that they don't want you wearing skirts or swimwear, something for people to be aware of when packing for the zip wire.
Make sure to arrive 15 minutes before your session, so you have enough time to fill in the waiver and go through the safety briefing. There will be free storage boxes to keep your valuables and to make sure nothing drops out of your pockets or falls out of a bag.
