Do you recall being a teenager and enjoying fun, girly sleepovers with endless gossip while watching films and doing each other’s hair? Bring back that magic and plan a hen party sleepover. You can either do this home if space allows or in a hen party house or hotel.
Old School Pajama Party - Get everyone a set of matching PJs, you can go high-end and splash out on luxury sets with each girl's role in the wedding embroidered on the back or just visit Primark and buy some cheap ones!
Spa Night - Set up a DIY spa with face masks, manicures, pedicures, and relaxing music. You can even hire a mobile spa service for massages. Try the viral Korean glass face masks while sitting around in fluffy robes sipping Prosecco - sounds like heaven to us!
Movie Marathon - Create a cozy movie-watching space with blankets and pillows. Choose a mix of romantic comedies, chick flicks, or the bride's favorite films. Add some pizza, sweets and popcorn and you’re all set!
Game Night - Organise fun party games like trivia about the bride, board games, or card games. You could also include some adult-themed games to keep it lively, such as Cards Against Humanity.
Cocktail Making - Have a cocktail-making session where everyone is given a colour and must create a cocktail based on that! You can also throw in other funny themes such as ‘ex-boyfriend’ (think the red flag…) . Alternatively, you could head to a local bar, such as for Liverpool cocktail making and then head back to the house afterwards to continue the fun.
Craft Night - Set up a crafting station for making personalized items like friendship bracelets, custom wine glasses, or scrapbooks for the bride. This is perfect for creative hens and also extremely relaxing!
Karaoke Party - Rent a karaoke machine or use a karaoke app. Singing together can be a blast and brings out everyone's inner performer! Who doesn’t love belting Spice Girls songs after a few bevs?
Outdoor Movie Night - If you have a decent sized garden, set up an outdoor projector and screen for a movie under the stars. Don't forget the popcorn and blankets!
Cooking Challenge - Host a friendly cooking competition where teams create dishes with a mystery ingredient. Enjoy tasting everyone's creations afterward. Choose a theme such as Mexican or Italian and then sit down to enjoy the feast afterwards!
Memory Lane - Create a memory wall where guests can post photos and write notes about their favorite memories with the bride. This can be a lovely keepsake for her and also a very emotional and personal way to give the bride-to-be a memorable send off.
Photo Booth Fun - Set up a DIY photo booth with props and backdrops. Capture funny moments and create lasting memories with a photo album that the bride can keep.
Themed Breakfast - Start the next day with a themed breakfast, like your own bottomless brunch featuring mimosas, pancakes, and fruit. Everyone can contribute a dish to share.
Scavenger Hunt - Create a scavenger hunt around the house and garden with fun tasks and challenges related to the bride and her relationship.
Dance Party - Clear some space for a dance floor and create a playlist of the bride’s favorite songs. Consider hiring a dance instructor for a fun lesson in styles like salsa or swing.
Dark and Stormy Night - If the group is into the spooky side of things, host a ghost story night or watch horror films by candlelight. You could even incorporate a tarot card reading session.
Personalised Playlist Creation - Have everyone contribute to a playlist of songs that remind them of the bride. Share stories behind the songs while enjoying the music together.
Book Club Night - If the bride is a book lover, choose a romantic or fun book for everyone to read in advance. Discuss it over snacks and drinks.
Art and Wine Night - Set up a painting station with canvases, paints, and brushes. Follow a tutorial or let everyone paint their own masterpiece while sipping on wine.
Memory Jar - Have the hens write down their favorite memories with the bride on slips of paper and place them in a jar. This can be a great keepsake for her to read later.
Fashion Show - Encourage guests to bring their favorite outfits or accessories, then have a fun runway show where everyone can model their looks. Another option is the charity shop challenge where you are all asked to select an outfit for one of other hens - these are hilarious as the aim is to make the clothes as garish as possible
Around the World Night - Each hen can represent a different country by bringing a dish or drink from that culture. Share stories or experiences from travels while enjoying the diverse menu.
Outdoor Adventure - If the weather permits, consider a camping-themed sleepover in the garden with tents, a fire pit, and marshmallows
