Inevitably, London is hugely popular for these venues, as you have so much choice available to you. Mini golf is far from a new concept, but the number of neon-style lit-up indoor golf courses has boomed over the past few years.
Brighton, being the bohemia creative hub of the country (arguably, we're biased, we're based in Brighton) is home to a huge number of activity bars. Shuffleboards have popped up all over the country, a game which they'd be happy to teach everyone, but largely revolves around sliding the puck strong enough so it reaches the target but not so hard that it goes off the edge.
Do These Bars Need To Be Booked In Advance?
We can help book your entire hen party so that everyone has entry, plus a number of tokens on the day. We can also arrange for drink packages, which are ideal as it can be hassle getting the drinks arranged when you arrive. You don't want everyone queueing at the bar, let alone trying to work out the bar tab if you all pay together, it just gets very messy. This way, you could book for a few bottles of bubbly to be on the table when you arrive and everyone has pre-paid so headache removed.
Also, with some of these venues, if you turned up on the day, they may either be fully booked or let you know you have to wait an hour, especially the neon golf courses.

The vast majority will have multiple gaming options available, whether that's group activities like a cricket lane, a few tables for beer/prosecco pong or an augmented reality dart board. You may have the group split in two inevitably with some games, or even three depending on how many people are coming, but this will stop people waiting forever for a go and keep the day flowing smoothly. This is also why we recommend groups find activies they particularly want to do before deciding on a location, as you can let the activity be the decider on where you go, rather than opting for whatever is available in the city you initially picked.
Can You Order Food & Drink At These Bars?
The majority do allow you to order food and especially drinks, but you will have to look at the individual product you're interested in. We can handle a number of food & drink packages and pre-bookings, but for anything we can't, that means you can simply order on the day when you arrive.
It's often a good idea to double these up with eating, as you might not want to spend a few hours of your day in a restaurant and by eating at an activity bar, you can keep time focused around the activities you want to do. Just the same, drinking while playing will help settle the nerves for some that don't know people in the group, while it also keeps the excited vibe going.
Can We Hire Out The Bar?
In general, no. But you may be given a timeslot where others aren't around or can't join in with games, while you may also get a reserved table. Every activity and bar is different and we include all details on what you'll get on the product page, but the vast majority will give you a set time and section so you don't have to worry about other groups wandering over.
